Germ of Life final event

The European project Germ of Life will hold its final meeting from 27 to 29 May 2026 in Patras (Greece), in the framework of the International Conference of Balkan and Black Sea Regions. Over the course of three days, the event will combine internal project coordination sessions with a high-level international programme focused on sustainability, climate resilience and regional cooperation, bringing together institutional representatives, scientific experts and key stakeholders from different fields.

Working session of the consortium focused on project coordination, review of progress, presentation of results by work packages, and definition of final deliverables and next steps.

Final event – institutional opening and thematic sessions
Opening of the final event with a high-level institutional session (09:30), followed by sessions focused on energy networks and sustainable opportunities (10:30–12:00), activities related to the Germ of Life project and parallel sessions (14:00–16:00), and a session on climate change and water resilience (16:30–17:30).

Final event – sectoral sessions and closing
Second day of the final event, featuring sessions on tourism cooperation (09:00–10:00) and the blue economy (10:00–11:00), as well as parallel sessions of European projects, including Germ of Life. The event will conclude with the presentation of outcomes and the institutional closing (11:15–11:30).
