2nd Interreg Euro-MED Italy Forum

The Tuscany Region, in its role as the National Contact Point in Italy for the Interreg Euro-MED Programme 2021–2027, is organizing the 2nd Interreg Euro-MED Italy Forum. The event will take place at the FH55 Grand Hotel Palatino in Rome on Friday, May 15, 2026.

This forum aims to bring together the Italian community involved in the Programme, fostering a space for exchange where participants can share experiences, identify needs, and address common challenges. It also seeks to strengthen cooperation and create new synergies among participants, building on the process initiated at the Forum held in Florence in 2024.

The 2026 edition will have a strongly practical focus. Following a brief opening session, the programme will be structured around eight thematic tables. In the morning, four workshops will focus on the capitalization and transferability of results, inspired by the working areas of the Interreg Euro-MED Academy. In the afternoon, participants will work in groups according to their Mission, with the aim of defining priorities and specific lines of action.

Among the participants, Manuela Balzarolo (CMCC) will attend and take part in the working group on Climate Resilience and Adaptation, where she will explore how to leverage the results of the Germ of Life project.
