European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is held every year as the European Union’s main event dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency, bringing together policymakers, businesses, industry, civil society, and citizens to promote the energy transition. Organized by the European Commission since 2007, EUSEW is a key forum for debate, the exchange of best practices, and the promotion of solutions that enable progress towards a cleaner, safer, and more competitive energy system.

The 2026 edition will take place from June 9 to 11, in a hybrid format (Brussels and online), and will celebrate its 20th edition under the slogan “A Union of clean, secure, and competitive energy.” The program includes a high-level policy conference, the Energy Fair, the EUSEW Awards, European Energy Day for Young People, and multiple parallel activities that reinforce the role of innovation, efficiency, and social participation in the European energy transition.
