Webinar | Space and Digitalisation of the water sector

Water Europe will host a high‑level webinar titled “Space and Digitalisation of the Water Sector” on 4 February, organised in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). The event strengthens the partnership sealed through their recent MoU and aims to show how space‑based data, Digital Twins and AI can support smarter, more resilient water management. It will spotlight practical examples such as digital water systems, local Digital Twins in Cyprus, and the MOSAIC decision‑intelligence platform.

The webinar will also introduce ESA’s Business Applications and Space Solutions (BASS) initiative, outlining funding opportunities for space‑enabled water services. As part of the Water‑Oriented Living Labs (WOLLs) series, it seeks to enhance collaboration and knowledge‑sharing across Europe, promoting a more connected and innovative water network.
