The Day of the Mediterranean provides a yearly opportunity to promote intercultural exchanges, celebrate cooperation, embrace diversity and strengthen ties between our two shores. We celebrate our shared identity, common heritage and love for the Mediterranean.
2024 is a year like no other. With the deadlines of the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development fast approaching, and the various crises facing the world multiplying, it’s up to us to shape the Mediterranean as we see it, based on resilience, cooperation and a better tomorrow for all.
