Digital tools
🌐 Germ of Life Digital Solutions
The Germ of Life project develops and transfers innovative digital tools that support drought risk prediction, vulnerability assessment and climate-resilient decision-making across Mediterranean territories.
Building on advanced monitoring systems, artificial intelligence methodologies and stakeholder-driven approaches, the project delivers a complete ecosystem of interoperable tools that support public authorities, water managers, farmers, researchers and policy makers in addressing drought-related challenges.
The project’s main digital solutions are developed, validated and transferred through the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme and contribute to strengthening climate adaptation and drought resilience across the Mediterranean region. The project focuses on developing jointly created solutions for drought-risk prediction, vulnerability assessment and innovation procurement, supporting climate adaptation and risk prevention.
