31/05/2025

Germ of Life project continues to progress. It includes the installation of meteorological stations for pilots in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece. Those in Portugal and Greece are already operational. The Italian station will be operational next July, with the involvement of the project’s two Italian partners, Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) and Lamoro Development Agency.

-Fully equipped thermo-hygrometric sensor.

-Tipping-bucket type rain gauge, for automatic precipitation measurement.

-Fully assembled and tested TDR sensor for measuring soil moisture content, electrical conductivity, dielectric permittivity, and temperature.

-Fully equipped PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) sensor.

-Analog NDVI sensor for both reflected and direct measurements.
