Germ of Life started its first phase from Seville with the kick-off meeting

The first technical meeting to agree on the acceleration of the various aspects and phases of this complex project took place on March 7 and 8 in Seville, hosted by the two Spanish partners: the Junta de Andalucía and Ubitel. The event will take place at the headquarters of the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy of the Junta de Andalucía. Inmaculada Gallardo, its Territorial Delegate in Seville, and Professor Athanassios A. Argiriou, Germ of Life Project Leader from the Atmospheric Physics Laboratory of the University of Patras, participated in the institutional opening.

During the two days, all work packages assigned to the 10 entities of the partnership they were presented and coordinated. Such as the evaluation of requirements, the definition of best practices, pilot tests and action plans for the joint development of solutions, and the strategy to extend their application throughout the Euro-Mediterranean region. Representing Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Euro-MED Program Agathe Spitz, Project Officer, spoke to provide guidance on the framework of action and supervision of compliance with its objectives.
