On October 15, at the Société du Canal de Provence, in Le Tholonet (France), took place an interesting symposium on water resources management. Organized by Eco-enterprises. With a focus on IA applied to IoT sensors data. Léa Duran, who works at Atos as a Lead Data scientist and expert in hydrogeology, was participated in one of the round tables. She is part of the Atos team involved in the development of the Germ of Life project.
She discussed how to use sensors data to build IA models to protect water resources and the environment, the importance of assessing the data quality and correctly cleaning the datasets, the need to have different expertise on the sensor, in hydrology, in the machine learning models. She talked about Germ of Life project and then another one on modelling combined sewer networks and another on groundwater level forecasting.
During this symposium, experts and professionals in the sector shared rich and inspiring discussions around technological innovation, artificial intelligence and multi-sensor data for sustainable and intelligent management of water resources.
